Something I want from the next Godzilla movie (MonsterVerse or otherwise)

MemberGiganJan-13-2022 2:16 PMI really want an insanely dark Godzilla movie as either Godzilla's third solo MonsterVerse movie or just for a new Godzilla movie in general. Specifically like the 2012 Comic-Con teaser, which sold everything. Honestly, the best way to describe it is to link it:

What do you think? Should we have a movie that leans into this more darker and mature tone? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts.

Honestly I’m fine with MV continuing. It’s not something I’m particularly excited about anymore. Especially whether it’s unclear or not Godzilla will still be in it.

AdminSpaceGodzillaJan-14-2022 8:13 AMI would love to see a darker, R-rated Godzilla flick, with the same atmosphere as the 2012 teaser. I think of the Monsterverse films 2014 did the best job of this though, but it could have been much darker.

MemberGiganJan-14-2022 11:35 AMAlso keep in mind many of the actors present in the MV have taken on darker projects, so it's feels off that they don't go all in.
