King Ghidorah is an alien confirmed??

In an interview for Entertainment Weekly, production designer Scott Chambliss stated: "Ghidorah is from another planet".

I'm not sure if anything has been officially released about Ghidorah's origins in the Monsterverse, and he very well could have been just referencing the classic view of the character, but to me, it sounds like he's referencing the Ghidorah in the new movie, so i thought I'd share it with y'all.

Well if it is an alien, that opens up interesting possibilities does it not? Maybe the aliens will show up in a future entry bringing MechaGodzilla with them.
