Monster verse after Godzilla vs kong?

After the deal with toho and legendary is up in 2020 , what is to be of Godzilla ? Could this be a dark hint to the winner of godzilla vs kong ? Let me know what you think!

Depends on how much money Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong makes. If Legendary thinks its viable to renew the rights, they'll probably try to negotiate a new deal with Toho.

Either way though it's going to be hard to convince Toho--Seems they're pretty miffed they can't make a live action film right now.

If Legendary does try to renew the contract, I'm sure at this point that Toho would make them remove that stipulation. They're probably completely committed to that "World of Godzilla" already. Toho might also want to get more involved in the production and in turn earn a greater share of the profits. Whatever happens, they'll have to find a way to sweeten the pot for Toho to consider extending the deal.
