Oh well, Godzilla 2 and Kong: Skull Island should keep me entertained during the wait :) Anyway, I was just wondering on how Godzilla and Kong will encounter each other. I myself believe that the endings of Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla 2 may foreshadow or hint towards their imminent battle in some way. If Kong is situated on Skull Island then it at-least explains how Godzilla could get there. If he can swim so efficiently and easily than there's no trouble in imagining him swimming to the island. Also, what if Skull Island has some huge source of natural radiation which is the reason Godzilla goes there?

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-14-2015 8:08 PMIt's too early to tell since we haven't seen how Skull Island turns out or Godzilla 2018 for that matter. Both of those films will probably offer some clues on how they'll meet.
I think Godzilla will chase a third monster, the villain, to Skull Island. When Godzilla reaches the island, Kong will perceive him as a threat and a battle ensues. The third monster could join the battle and lay waste to Godzilla and Kong which will prompt the two to join forces later on.
Well, that's one idea.
