Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 12

     Looking up, Godzilla watches as five bat-like creatures dive down from the sky. The creatures divebomb him before Fire Rodan fires his Uranium Heat Beam. Swooping in, he’s able to take down an injured one. However, two more attack his back and wings, causing him to retreat. As Fire Rodan flies off, Battra flies in to continue the fight. He fires his Prism Beams, forcing three of the creatures back. The rest of the creatures let out a supersonic scream, which causes all the monsters on the island hearing damage.

     Shaking his head, Godzilla swipes his claws at the flying monsters, attempting to stop them. However, they fight back, biting and slashing him with their teeth and talons. Eventually, the King of the Monsters grabs one in his hand. He bites down on the creature and swallows it. The other creatures begin to fly off a bit, but eventually they all attack at once. Enduring a few more slashes, Godzilla charges up his Atomic Breath and fires, taking down one of the creatures and wounding another.

     As Godzilla fights off the remaining three, another loud scream fills the air. The monsters look up as seven more Gyaos swoop down from the fog. Screeching, Fire Rodan fires a powerful blast of his Uranium Heat Beam, injuring one. However, two Gyaos fly at him, biting and slashing as Fire Rodan pecks and slashes at them. Eventually, Battra flies in and fires his Prism Beams, taking down one. The other flies at him, but Battra uses his Electric Grab to severely wound it. As a trio of Maser jets fly in to fight Battra off, Fire Rodan finishes off the wounded one.

     Killing a wounded Gyaos, Anguirus looks up and sees three more Gyaos flying right at him. Growling, he curls into a ball and hurtles himself at the trio. His spiked carapace hits the one on the left, crushing it as the two hit the ground. Anguirus stays curled in a ball as the other two attempt to attack. Eventually, Mothra flies in and grabs one with her claws. Using all her power, she forces the creature into Anguirus’s spiked carapace. Then, she grabs the last one and bites its neck with her powerful jaws. Eventually, she kills the struggling beast.

     Looking around, Godzilla tries to see any remaining Gyaos. After a few seconds, one slashes the top of his head. Charging up his Atomic Breath, the King of the Monsters quickly burns it to a crisp. Looking around again, he only sees the remains of ten dead Gyaos scattered around the island. Seeing no more of the flying monsters, he roars in victory. However, it wasn’t long before the next threat was unleashed.
