New Monsters or Old Monsters in Toho New Series

A mix. Their should be redesigns of the old monsters but 1 or 2 new monster unique to the series. That's how every series works. Destroyah, Megaguirus, Orga, Battra, etc.

They start out trying do fresh things, new ideas, new monsters but than they don't make as much money as they were hoping so they put in monsters people know and will flock to. Would have loved if Biollante would have been more sucessful, the rest of the heisei series felt "safe"

Feel like a broken record here, he doesn't have to fight a new or old monster every time he lets a fart.

Solo to start out with, Godzilla 1954 and the return of godzilla 1984 were a few of the most successful movies made in Japan only. As a matter of fact this two along with godzilla vs mothra 1992 were the highest grossing films made.
