MemberMothra LarvaeAug-17-2014 7:29 AMWelp, since the source for godzilla's new roar was kept secret (until now), I'll just take a guess then. I was listening to his new roar many times (as we all do) through the roar i heard something familiar, that ascending tone in the roar sounds like a vacumn cleaner. So if you could take a guess on where it came from, what is it?
Bonus: The scene where godzilla was pushing the Femmuto then both its arms simiultaneously hit the buiding like to stop herself, It's actually a sound of either the car's hood when it closes or someone hitting the car's body.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-17-2014 9:51 AMdidn't they say that the new roar is actually the old roar from the 1st movie but modified?

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-18-2014 5:53 PMI've been playing around with the roars and I've managed to separate the center and stereo tracks from each other. In the Stereo track, there's definitely some heavy sheet of something banging on a floor at the beginning and end of the main roar with a "rolling heavy tube" sort of noise happening in between. However, the ending bellow seems to be heavily processed and more difficult to make out. The center track, on the other hand, definitely reveals a metallic groan in the center of it all, indicating the main "SKREE-" has something to do with a metal hinge or scrape.
Nonetheless, we'll probably discover more in the Blu-Ray release. You know, with 5.1 Surround and all.
