MemberAnguirusJul-08-2014 9:59 AMFor the sequel, Gareth would take the most realistic approach to a monster, if he uses a Toho monster he will take the most realistic approach so that although they might not know its a Toho, the creature would still appeal to them, just like how the MUTOs would. So he would need a new yet classic design like LegendaryGoji, he would need a realistic origin like LegendaryGoji. The monster I want most in Godzilla 2 is King Ghidorah. Making him a space monster is a little cheesy, so I think Gareth if he uses him will slightly change his origin, maybe a harmless earth monster mutated somehow. But if he is still a space monster, it would be like this for me:
King Ghidorah arrives on Earth in a small meteor that he could fit in, with an intention of wiping out life with his own free wil, he instead encounters several monsters refusing to let the home get destroyed so easily, monsters such as Mothra, Rodan, Titansaurus, certain stronger Zillas (Zilla Jr reference) and finally Godzillas. He kills many of each species until he encounters the last defender Godzilla. King Ghidorah realizes the size, strength and experiencd of this Godzilla and decodes to do a stealthy approach, while Godzilla is out, leaving his mate and child (Minilla, Godzilla Jr, Aurora reference), King Ghidorah then attacks Godzillas mate and child, Godzillas mate tells baby to run away while she holds Ghidorah off, Godzillas nate since females have twice as much nuclear reserves, she uses all her reserves in a powerful Spiral Ray which does a little damage to Ghidorah which is quickly regenerated, he then takes his time killing her. He goes in search who goes into the sea swimming as far away as possible to never come back, Godzilla returns to find his dead mate and no sign of Ghidorah, also thinking Ghidorah killed his child, a grudge forms between the 2, Ghidorah and Godzilla ahve a short battle from which a few Baragons help Godzilla by burying Ghidorah deep close to the mantle of Earth. Godzilla still holds this grudge which Godzilla still holds, causing a ferocious battle in the current day.
Biollante:
Credit to Joamlo2 for this idea.
After the battle in San Francisco, Godzillas blood spatter mutated roses which sought food and eat Erika Shiragami, scientists capture it and contain it, the plants gets Erikas conscience... and human diseases like flu. So a crocodiles DNA is injected into the plant to make it counter the disease. Getting its crocodile head, it demands freedom as an innocent soul but actually is intent on taking over the world with Godzilla not allowing that to happen.
If you want me to post more just ask, once again credit to Joamlo2 for that idea

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-08-2014 10:13 AMYou can't use 'realistic approach' and 'The plant gets Erika's conscience and is injected with crocodile DNA and demands its' freedom because it is innocent' in the same string of thought.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-08-2014 10:23 AMa more realistic aproash to biollante would be the original biollante,
but if gareth brougth back anguirus, baragon, varan, tiatanosaurus, varan, or rodan, he has the option to make their explenation the same as godzilla gaiant creatures that lived in the same time period as godzilla

MemberGiganJul-08-2014 2:14 PMEh. The Ghidorah one is good, but it could be worked away from being a space monster. I don't have much to say about the Biollante one.
