How about a serious underwater battle in the sequel?

I haven't seen all Godzilla movies but as far as I know he's never been in a really memorable underwater battle, and no I don't count the underwater battle in the 1998 movie, I'm talking about a battle between monsters. Now this is understandable, it's pretty much impossible to do that with a man in a suit, and given Toho's budget. Legendary should have the money and capabillities to do something really special here. Just imagine, two giant monsters fighting in slow motion, causes gigantic waves and perhaps even tsunam's. How about this idea?

Well now I know what I want to see in the sequel! I could imagine it, gojira tackling some massive organism and descending into the murky depths only to rise again and topple the destroyer ships trying in vain to keep everything in controle! EPIC!!

How far can we push nature before it pushes back?

I was thinking of the same thing!!!,...what about the military trying to follow him and then he dissapears...they cant see him ....and when they beam a strong light for visual confirmation....there he is ...LOOKING AT THEM ANGRILY IN AN UPRIGHT POSTURE..SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF THEM.!!

Godzilla did had n underwater battle in Godzilla motha the battle for earth 1992.

but yah ould like to see that scene in the sequel.

That would be great to see in the sequel. Underwater battles are so underused in the Godzilla franchise. Going by memory I think there are only 2 underwater battles in the Godzilla franchise: Godzilla vs the Sea Monster and Godzilla vs Mothra 1992.

Those two and maybe a half credit to Biollante for the first fight, when the tentacles attack Godzilla from underneath the lake.
